Elena has held P&L responsibility for core products and product portfolios worth $1 Million to over $1 Billion across divisional units including Respiratory, Women's Health, Neuroscience, Neurology, among others.

Awarded for Marketing Excellence, Best Marketing Plan including a Medical, Marketing & Media (MM&M) Silver Award in 2019 for the Multiple Paths Market Access Marketing Campaign for the Respiratory Portfolio. Headed one of the largest business acquisitions for Women's Health worth over $20 Million driving exponential growth while holding her position as VP & GM in laboratory diagnostics.

Women of Valor: Board member supporting the mission to advance the wellness and empowerment of women in underserved communities.
Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) RTP Chapter:  Co-mentor to PhD candidates navigating their workplace and career progression journeys. 

Dress For Success Triangle:  Coached and mentored women getting back to the workforce, mock interviews, resume reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions. 

Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) - NC:  Served as judge at the state and county level development programs. The Annual NC-DECA Career Development Conference is an event with an attendance of over 5000 student competitors and 55 different competitive events in the areas of Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Marketing, and other business disciplines. 

Odyssey of The Mind (OM): Served as judge for Wake County public schools' system.  OM is a creative problem-solving competition that gives kids (Elementary, Middle to High School students) the confidence to think for themselves and to create solutions to any challenge.  OM also emphasizes teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking, among other areas. 

As a world citizen, Elena enjoys traveling, learning about cultures, their history, their food and having conversations with people across the globe speaking fluently in Spanish, English or Cantonese.
